✨ My Story – From Darkness to Light
There was a time when my life stood still.
For nearly two years (1 year and 11 months), I battled an illness that drained me physically, mentally, and spiritually. Each day felt heavy, filled with uncertainty, weakness, and pain. There were moments when even the smallest tasks felt impossible, and I questioned if I would ever return to “normal.”
But in that darkness, Allāh planted seeds of light.
Illness stripped away distractions and forced me to face myself — my faith, my habits, my purpose. Through the tears of hardship, I learned the beauty of Tawakkul (trust in Allāh). Through the quiet nights of pain, I discovered the power of Du’ā and Dhikr. Through weakness, I realized that true strength comes only from Allāh.
This journey transformed me.
What I once saw as suffering became my greatest teacher. My illness was not a punishment, but a path. It taught me patience, humility, gratitude, and the importance of building a life filled with Barakah.
Hence, Grow with Barakah, was created from this journey.
It is my story — but it’s also a guide which can make a massive change for all my Muslim brothers and sisters, Bi’idhnillāh.
If you’ve ever struggled with hardship, if you’ve ever felt lost or distant from your true purpose, then this guide is perfect for you. It’s not about perfection. It’s about taking small, consistent steps toward Allāh, even when life feels heavy.

About Me
Assalāmu ‘Alaikum, and welcome 🤲🏽
My name is Jahid, and this PDF I created, “Grow with Barakah” was born from one of the hardest chapters of my life. For almost two years , I lived through an illness that tested me in every possible way — physically, mentally, and spiritually.
During that time, I often felt weak, lost, and uncertain about the future. But Allāh, in His infinite mercy, turned my hardship into a blessing. Illness became my teacher. It taught me patience, reliance on Allāh, gratitude for the smallest things, and the importance of building a life with meaning and Barakah.
This guide, “Grow with Barakah: A Muslim’s Guide to Self-Improvement,” is a reflection of that journey. It’s not just about my story, but about the lessons and tools that any Muslim can use to grow stronger in faith, even when life feels overwhelming.
🌙 My Aim
✨ To help Muslims strengthen their connection with Allah through self-growth and reflection.
✨ To remind others that even in hardship, there is mercy and wisdom.
✨ To share practical steps, rooted in Islam, that guide us towards a life filled with Barakah.
✨ To inspire hope — that no matter where you are, you can begin again and grow.
Grow with Barakah is more than just a book for me. It’s my way of giving back, of turning a painful chapter into something that can benefit others, in shā’ Allāh.
I pray that my journey inspires you in your own, and that together, we can strive for a life of faith, resilience, and true Barakah.
